**Arc potential:**

- What are they wrong about at the start?
- What would break them?
Make this character feel like a real person with contradictions, not a trait checklist.
How To Use It
Specify the role the character plays in your story and the genre. The AI will create someone with internal contradictions that drive conflict naturally. Use the voice samples to maintain consistency when writing their dialogue.
Why It Works
Great characters have internal contradictions — they want two incompatible things. This prompt forces that tension through the motivation/fear/flaw structure and ensures the character can sustain a story through the arc potential section.
Variations
Antagonist builder:
Create a villain who genuinely believes they're the hero. Their goal must be sympathetic, their methods must be wrong, and they must have a point your protagonist can't easily dismiss.
Ensemble cast:
Create 4 characters for a [GENRE] story who complement and contrast each other. Each should challenge another's worldview and represent a different approach to [CENTRAL THEME].
Character voice test:
Here's a character I've created: [DESCRIPTION]. Write the same scene from their POV 3 times: first meeting someone, receiving bad news, and being caught in a lie. Show consistent voice across all three.
