Over the coming years, Meta will deploy 6 GW of AMD Instinct GPUs, EPYC CPUs, and our Helios rack-scale architecture — starting with a custom MI-450 based GPU we’re co-engineering specifically for their AI workloads. Congratulations to our very own AMD CTO Mark Papermaster on his induction into the National Academy of Engineering. Mark and I have known each other for over 25 years since our early days at IBM building high-performance microprocessors. He has been my partner since we both joined AMD more than 12 years ago.
